Alibi Festival
In Perugia, from 22 to 26 March 2026, the Auditorium San Francesco al Prato hosts the second edition of the Alibi Festival, dedicated to crime storytelling across literature and film, featuring conversations with authors and scholars.
The programme opens with “Aspettando Alibi”, a series of events leading up to the festival. Highlights include a talk with Edoardo Albinati on “La scuola cattolica”, ten years after winning the Strega Prize, followed by a film screening. Another event pays tribute to Agatha Christie fifty years after her death, with a focus on “Witness for the Prosecution” and a screening of the 1957 film. The programme also features a creative writing workshop led by Davide Longo, focused on the techniques behind noir and thriller storytelling, and a conversation with Gaetano Savatteri, in dialogue with Lorella Marini.
During the festival days, meetings and talks explore different forms of crime narrative. Among the guests, Carlo Lucarelli presents “Io odio le favole”, a journey through storytelling and music that examines the darker side of fairy tales.
