“Umbrian routes on horse”, that will take place from the 27th June to the 2nd July, will bring Italian and foreign trade journalists to discover an unusual Umbria in a totally original way: on horse. 

The event, that will be a preview of the Rural Tourism Exhibition (at the Umbria Fairs of Bastia Umbria, from the 6th to the 8th October), aims to promote the Italian Green Heart through its charming paths immersed in the nature, its breathtaking landscapes, its probably less known territories but that are however full of charm.

The initiative includes an itinerary that starting from Assisi will reach Castelluccio di Norcia: a total of about 160 km, riding horses that are expertly trained for these routes and an excellent technical assistance, with the support of CAI paths’ networks experts and the technical aid of expert equestrian guides.

Beyond that plunging in the nature, it will also be a unique occasion to visit the local artistic heritage as well as to taste the typical products of these beautiful areas.

The educational is reserved for Italian and foreign trade journalists, but the route can however already be used also by those who would like to discover Umbria on horse.
