The peace and fraternity march from Perugia to Assisi is an intense experience involving every year thousands of people and in 2016 it will see the participation of over 200 local authorities from every corner of Italy.

The march was born in 1961 but its inspiring spirit and motivations remained unchanged, even if the concept of Peace itself has changed and enriched over time. Nowadays peace also means Rights, Solidarity, Fight against all forms of Misery, terrorism and violence.

It's possible to complete the entire route (from Perugia to Assisi, about 24 kilometers), travel along a section (starting from Ponte San Giovanni, Collestrada, Ospedalicchio or Bastia), or wait for the March's arrival in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Piazza San Francesco or at the Assisi's Fortress and then join the closing event.
