One hundred years after his death, Perugia celebrates Annibale Brugnoli, with the exhibition "L'età delle favole antiche" (The era of old fables), set up in the rooms of the Museo civico di Palazzo della Penna di Perugia which can be visited until the 28th March 2016.

The exhibition brings together a selection of the artist's works, which reveal his activity in the light of his interest in the aesthetic Roman culture at the turn of the century.

In addition to promoting the figure of this important painter from Perugia of the Umbertino period, the exhibition also brings together works by other artists similar to him, concluding with the presentation of his last painting commission made for Villa Rossetti in 1915.

Many collateral events have been organised throughout the period the exhibition is open, including guided visits, conferences, and guided tours around the locations of the artist's work as well as activities for children.
