"You and me" - Pictures of Claudio Montecucco
After a series of national and international festivals, the photographer from Perugia Claudio Montecucco is returning to exhibit in Umbria with the exhibition "You and me", on schedule from the 16th April to the 11th June 2017 in Montefalco, at the St. Francis Museum Complex.
The exhibition offers a broad overview of the artist's production, marked by a style aiming at re-interpreting in a modern version the classical art photography.
There is an increased need to express the emotional charge of the chosen subjects in his artworks: it's a strictly personal photography, derived from the need to condense in a snapshot sensations and emotions that otherwise will be lost.
Claudio Montecucco
Born in Perugia, Claudio Montecucco obtained a diploma as technician for mechanical industries as well as the three-year qualification as CAD industrial designer. Enrolled to the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, after some exams he left the studies to work in the jewellery of the family as jewels designer and to continue his piano studies.
Lover of each form of art, Montecucco started to photograph (mainly pictures of architecture) just some years ago when he understood that photography allowed him to express something extremely personal.
