Love Film Festival 2025

Perugia and Magione will host the eleventh edition of the Love Film Festival from June 13 to 15, the first Italian film festival dedicated to the theme of love. The 2025 edition explores the relationship between love, the environment, and sustainability, understood in its social and cultural dimensions as well. The festival’s patron will be actress Giulia Schiavo.

The event aims to be a space for dialogue between cinema and civic themes, offering a program that combines screenings, talks with cinema professionals, masterclasses, and premieres. Highlights include the world premiere of the mixed-media documentary “Fellinesque – L’eterna danza di Fellini” by Federico Mancuso, and a conversation with actor Edoardo Pesce following the screening of “El Paraìso”. Director Davide Ferrario will also present his book “L’isola della felicità”.

There will be space for education with masterclasses on acting, screenwriting, and casting, led by professionals such as Isabelle Adriani, Astrid Meloni, Max Nardari, Alba Calicchio, and Sonia Broccatelli. The program includes “Amici per caso”, recently presented in the Senate on the International Day Against Homophobia.

The festival will also feature the documentaries “Titanus 1904” by Giuseppe Rossi, dedicated to the historic film production company, and “Gaucci: Quando passa l’uragano” by Giacomo Del Buono, about the president of AC Perugia. Also scheduled is the presentation of the book “Le Fondazioni Film Commission” by Corvi and Melelli.

To close, in Magione, a concert by the Filarmonica di Pila will celebrate iconic film soundtracks. A new feature this year is a prize for short films made by local schools, focusing on the role of women and gender equality, in collaboration with ConfapiD.
