Popoli e Religioni Terni Film Festival

Peoples and Religions Terni Film Festival

The film festival "Peoples and Religions Terni Film Festival", now in its 14th edition, is returning from 10th to 18th November with the theme "The imperfect age".

The calendar for the 2018 edition will also be full of events and initiatives, with a particular focus on Nigeria.

Today the Film Festival boasts an international dimension, with films by directors from Israel (4), Egypt (2), United States (2), Iran (2), France, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, India, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, and a short film shot between Germany and Kenya.

As in previous editions, the Festival does not lose sight of its Italian identity, with over 30 films, short films and documentaries that are taking part in the competition or not.

The screenings, which will be divided between the Cityplex Politeama, the Sanctuary of San Francis and the Municipal Library of Terni, will be interspersed with musical moments and debates.

Alongside the films and short films of the "traditional" competition, there will also be seven short films shot by those who live immigration on their own skin, after escaping from their country of origin and having found a home in Italy: the exhibition "How do you see us" will give them the opportunity to tell their story, and will allow viewers the opportunity to understand immigration from a different perspective than the usual one.
