The Mid-August Holiday in Tuoro sul Trasimeno will be held again from 31^st July to 15^th August, between the beach Lido di Tuoro, the Park "Il Sodo" and the Old Town: theatrical events, animations, parades, re-enactments, games and tastings, will make you relive the customs and traditions of the Roman and Carthaginian civilizations.

A journey through time during the period of Punic Wars will take visitors back to the far 217 BC, the year of the famous Battle of Trasimeno Lake which saw Hannibal as its protagonist: the four districts of the village (Trasimena, Colonna, Malpasso and Val Romana) are going to compete, through a series of races and competitions, to get the amphora of victory.

It will be a unique opportunity to enjoy the scents, flavours and atmosphere of a past that still lives in the memory and tradition of this beautiful territory.
