The Hermans Festival Winter 2025/26, now in its 29th edition, will take place in Arrone, Collescipoli and Terni from 22 November 2025 to 14 March 2026. Organized by the Accademia Hermans, the festival offers a musical journey devoted to Baroque and Classical repertoire, combining historical research with contemporary interpretation.

The opening concert will be held on Saturday 22 November in Arrone, at the Antico Convento di San Francesco, featuring J.S. Bach’s Sonatas for Flute and Harpsichord, performed by Fabio Ceccarelli and Fabio Ciofini. On 13 December, also in Arrone, the Ensemble RecerCare will present “In the Shadow of the Great Master”, a tribute to Bach’s music.

On 28 December in Collescipoli, at the Collegiata di Santa Maria Maggiore, Fabio Ciofini will perform an organ recital titled “Inspiration and Discipline: Two Schools Compared.” The program continues on 17 January in Arrone with the Ensemble Festa Rustica in “Straight or Traverso, For Me They Are the Same,” dedicated to the Baroque flute. On 31 January, also in Arrone, the Accademia Hermans will present “Baroque Without Borders: Italian Composers Around the World.”

On 14 February in Collescipoli, Gabriele Giacomelli will perform “Between Baroque and Galant Style,” followed on 28 February in Arrone by “The Time of the Frottola” with the Fairy Consort, closing the winter section of the festival.

The cycle will conclude in Terni on 14 March 2026, at the Church of Sant’Antonio, with W.A. Mozart’s Requiem K 626, featuring soloists Lucia Casagrande Raffi, Lucia Napoli, Žiga Čopi, and Sergio Foresti, joined by the Canticum Novum Chamber Choir and the Accademia Hermans, conducted by Fabio Ciofini.
