Festival Segni Barocchi - Baroque Signs Festival
| After a taster in June, the Festival Segni Barocchi returns Foligno on the 4th September: two weeks of events connected to the Giostra della Quintana which will transform Foligno into a Baroque City. There are many musical events planned: concerts and shows dedicated to the France of the Sun king and Don Quixote, as well as chamber works and arias from the Seventeenth and Eighteenth centuries. |
Saturday 5th September marks the return of Baroque Night: in the streets and piazzas of Foligno, there will be exhibitions, conferences and food tastings in tavernas, as well as spectacular parades moving amongst the music, dance and spectacle. On Friday 18th, the event moves to Trevi with a project dedicated to an encounter between Jazz, World and Baroque Music.

Concluding the event on Saturday 19th September, will be the Sagra Musicale Umbra with a performance by the Perugia Chamber Orchestra together with the voices of soprano Elisaveta Martirosyan and mezzosoprano Kremena Dilcheva.
