The 17^th edition of the Hand Embroidery and Handicraft Fabric Exhibition will take place from 31^st August to 2^nd September in Valtopina.

The festival, an event linked to the long tradition of the territory, promotes the knowledge of this ancient art, with a series of collateral events such as courses and workshops, addressing weavers, embroiderers, trade operators in the sector, but also simple enthusiasts.

The exhibition, a kingdom of embroidery, lace and weaving, where manual skills and creativity, tradition and innovation, different histories and cultures have always been combined, has become a place of meeting and exchange, of protecting artistic craftsmanship and promoting the inventiveness of women in the new millennium.

It will be a unique opportunity to visit the local Museum of Embroidery and Textile, housed in the Town Hall of Valtopina, which houses an interesting collection of ancient artefacts, dating back to between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as some contemporary embroideries.
