Valerio Adami. Mito e spiritualità 2025
At the CIAC – Centro Italiano Arte Contemporanea in Foligno, the exhibition “Valerio Adami. Mito e spiritualità”runs from 12 October 2025 to 11 January 2026. It brings together 50 works, including paintings and drawings, offering an in-depth reflection on the theme of transcendence in the artist’s oeuvre.
The exhibition alternates large-scale works with drawings, which for Adami represent the conceptual and poetic foundation of his painting. Through a language that intertwines myth, philosophy, poetry and universal spirituality, the artist explores the human condition and the relationship between body, mind and destiny.
His works address sexuality, violence, war and the contradictions of society, always accompanied by a constant search for the sacred. Not a dogmatic sacredness, but a secular and universal spirituality, rooted in myth and in respect for life and death. His clear outlines and pure colours, hallmarks of his style, become instruments of meditation and knowledge.
