Gubbio, from 18th July to 17th August 2025, will host a new edition of the summer season at the Roman Theatre, featuring a programme that brings together classical theatre, rock music, opera and storytelling.

The festival opens with Euripides’ Oreste, followed by the Oblivion, who blend comedy and music, and Debora Caprioglio with Non fui gentile, fui Gentileschi, a tribute to the painter Artemisia. The programme continues with the rock opera Le tre madri, the concerts of the Gubbstock Festival, and the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Franco Grandoni.

At the end of July, the stage will host Il viaggio di Francesco, based on the novel by Eloi Leclerc. In August, the lineup includes Neri Marcorè in Doppia Coppia, Pirandello’s Uno, nessuno e centomila, and the Gionni Grasso Band Reunion celebrating 25 years of music. Ancient drama returns with Anfitrione and Agamennone, directed by Christian Poggioni, while Tony Esposito presents Il viaggio di Ulisse. The season will close with Paolo Crepet and the talk Il reato di pensare, a reflection on freedom and conscience.
