This spring, from 5th April to 31st May 2025, Umbria invites visitors to slow down and explore with the 5th edition of Passeggiate & Buon Gusto, the walking oleotourism event promoted by the Strada dell’Olio e.v.o. DOP Umbria in collaboration with the L’Olivo e la Ginestra association.

A rich programme of guided walks will lead participants through authentic villages, centuries-old olive groves and local farms, discovering the world of Umbrian extra virgin olive oil and its many excellences.

Every Saturday, a different corner of Umbria will be explored, walking through nature, art and flavour. The routes will wind through olive-growing landscapes and small historic towns, with visits to olive mills, tastings of olive oil and local products, meetings with producers and moments of sharing and discovery.

The first event will take place on Saturday 5th April in Giano dell’Umbria, with a walk among the olive trees and visits to the Abbey of San Felice and the ancient olive grove of the Oro di Giano farm.

Other featured locations this year include: Trevi, Perugia, Lugnano in Teverina, Montecchio, Amelia, Monterubiaglio and Foligno.
