Perugia, a Christmas Together
From 29 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, Perugia dresses up for Christmas with a rich calendar of events: Perugia, a Christmas Together.
Starting 29 November, Christmas lights and artistic installations will illuminate the historic centre: streets and squares will come alive with traditional lights and artistic creations by renowned names, such as Mimmo Paladino.
Between Corso Vannucci and the Rocca Paolina, Christmas markets will offer handicrafts, food and wine specialties, and typical gifts — the perfect opportunity to find artisanal presents or culinary delights from all over Italy.
At the Cassero and on the terrace of the former Mercato Coperto, visitors can enjoy videomapping and luminous scenographies with special projections. Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza Matteotti will host the Christmas trees, while the new feature will be the “Winter Gardens”, with green decorations and festive displays along the streets of the centre.
Throughout the entire period, there will be shows, music, and concerts — from traditional performances to contemporary ones — suitable for all ages, taking place in the squares and theatres across the city.
The programme also includes activities for children and families: workshops, storytelling sessions, the “Children House” (from 29 November to 31 December), games, and themed paths for the little ones to experience Christmas in a creative and playful way.
