Natale a Montegabbione 2025
Montegabbione, from 13 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, presents a programme of Christmas events taking place in the town centre and its hamlets, accompanying the festive season with activities designed for different audiences. With the Christmas lights switched on, the town embraces the festive atmosphere through music, school performances and opportunities to come together.
The programme opens on Saturday 13 December in Faiolo with an event dedicated to the Christmas spirit, featuring Father Christmas, a choir and traditional polenta, followed on Sunday 14 December by the Community Polenta Lunchin the town centre.
Schools play a central role in the following days: on Tuesday 16 December, the Lower Secondary School presents the performance “Brilla nei cuori la pace del Natale” with two showings, while on Wednesday 17 December the Nursery and Primary School takes to the stage at the Parish Church of Montegabbione.
Sunday 21 December features two complementary moments. In the afternoon, Piazza della Repubblica hosts a Christmas aperitif linked to the 2026 membership drive, with activities for children, a Christmas bingo game and the arrival of Father Christmas, followed by choral music and a DJ set. Later in the day, the inauguration of the Municipal Theatre takes place, accompanied by a concert.
Music continues on Tuesday 23 December with the Christmas Concert by the choir “De Asganauei”, hosted at the parish church. Christmas Eve includes two moments especially dedicated to children, with Father Christmas arriving first in the town centre and then in Faiolo.
The celebrations continue on 25 December with a dance evening at Dancing 3B, while on 28 December the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena in Castel di Fiori hosts a concert by soprano Naho Yokoyama. The programme draws to a close with the New Year’s Eve dinner, the concert on 5 January and the traditional Epiphany Community Lunch on 6 January.
