Easter's Concert in the Orvieto's Cathedral
The Easter's Concert is returning also this year, in line with tradition, in the unique and inspiring setting offered by the Cathedral of St. Mary Assunta in Orvieto.
The appointment will be on Tuesday 11th April at 6 pm with the famous M° Zubin Mehta, star of the international concert world, who is going to direct one of the most prestigious orchestras, the Symphony Orchestra of Florence Musical May.
The schedule also includes the 9th Symphony in D minor by Anton Bruckner, who composed its first three parts between 1891 and 1894, without managing to complete the work with the fourth movement, leaving it therefore unfinished.
The event falls under the scope of the project "Tribute to Umbria", the Festival devoted to young performers accompanied by internationally renowned names that promotes the enhancement of the historical and artistic environments of the region.
The entrance is free.
The concert will be broadcast in Eurovision on RAI1.
