A selection of excerpts from the opera 'Macbeth' by Giuseppe Verdi, author who with his notes has always rediscovered a sense of belonging, community and strong identity, will resound in Piazza San Benedetto a Norcia on August 4: its protagonist will be Riccardo Muti who, on Saturday August 4, will perform in Norcia with an event of music and solidarity dedicated to the Umbrian region hit by the earthquake of 2016.

The concert, included the program of the event "Omaggio all'Umbria" (Homage to Umbria), will see the Maestro Muti conducting the Youth Orchestra "Luigi Cherubini", the Costanzo Porta Choir and the opera singers Alessio Verna, Victoria Yeo, Riccardo Rados, Riccardo Zanellato, Giuseppe Di Stefano, Adriano Gramigni and Antonella Carpenito.

The concert will be filmed and broadcast live on Rai5 and rebroadcast deferred on Rai1 on Sunday 24th August, exactly on the day when there was the earthquake two years ago.
