Umbria Jazz is taking place in Norcia to help the recovery of territories hit by the earthquake: on the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of July “the desire for the future will be played” in St. Benedict Square.

The initiative follows other two important appointments of solidarity organized by the Umbria Jazz Foundation: the first was the three-day festival among September and October that saw the participation of some Italian jazz stars (among the others: Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava, Stefano Bollani, Fabrizio Bosso and Danilo Rea), the second, on the last 4th May, was the performance of Pat Metheny.

The schedule includes different names of the national and international musical scene: from Renzo Arbore to the Italian Orchestra, to the Accordi Disaccordi Trio, from Funk Off to The Gam Scorpions through the Brand New Heavies.
