Terni's International Festival of Contemporary Creative Art
Now in its 11th edition, Terni's International Festival of Contemporary Creative Art will be back from September 16 to 25 and will show some of the most interesting contemporary artistic trends.
The festival, born as laboratory for experimenting and developing new languages, became a stage able to give visibility to national and international artists, a space where trying to bridge dividing lines among performance art, theatre, dance and music.
This year the event is developing along three related and interconnected directions: theatre, forest and city.
The first direction is dedicated to the production and co-production of the Teatro Stabile, among dramaturgy, visual and performative art.
The second line is focused on the relationship between art and urban regeneration with a project designed by the artist Leonardo Delogu that entails the construction of a temporary village of tree houses fitted on lindens of the driveway to Caos – Centro Arti Opificio Siri (Siri Arts Center and Factory). During the festival, these tree houses will host five international artists.
Lastly, the third direction will be focused, on the other hand, on the public space with a series of site-specific actions: from the musical cave of the Austrian pianist and composer Marino Formenti to the Contemporary Circus of the Belgian Circo Ronaldo, from the Lieux Publique public concert in Marseille to the district's action carried out by the collective STRASSE located in Milan.
These are just some of the performances and artists of the Terni Festival, where performance, research and action will once again be protagonists.
