From 26th September to 8th October 2025, Perugia hosts the 11th edition of the PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival, which for 13 days will enliven the city with screenings, talks and opportunities for discussion dedicated to documentary cinema, all with free admission.

The festival renews its commitment to combining cinema, community and inclusion, with a programme that interweaves international works, masterclasses, debates and retrospectives.

Among the highlights is the day of Sunday 5 October at Cinema PostModernissimo, entirely dedicated to Nicolas Philibert, one of the most sensitive interpreters of contemporary documentary cinema, who will be in Perugia to meet the audience and present some of his most significant films.
