The third edition of Note a Margine – Festival of Words will take place in Acquasparta, from Thursday, May 22 to Sunday, May 25, 2025. This cultural event offers a rich program of discussions and reflections on key current issues, aiming to explore the value of words as tools to understand the present. This year’s theme, “perspectives”, will guide dialogues, book presentations, youth workshops, and testimonies addressing topics such as politics, society, religion, and global conflicts.

Among the featured guests are prominent figures from Italy’s cultural and media landscape: Fabio Martini, Stefano Massini, Domenico Sorrentino, Alessandro Cassieri, Piero Marrazzo, Lirio Abbate, Vera Gheno, Francesca Mannocchi, and many others. Events will be held in symbolic locations of the town, including the historic Sala del Trono in Palazzo Cesi, the San Francesco Auditorium, and the Matteo d’Acquasparta Hall.

The program will open on May 22 with activities for schools and the presentation of works tied to historical memory and reinterpretations of the present. The following days will feature sessions on literature, political news, geopolitics, and social issues, with testimonials and discussions ranging from women in leadership to organized crime and ongoing wars. Special attention will be given to linguistic education and the civic role of language.

The final day will host authors reflecting on language as a tool to imagine the future and face contemporary challenges, through personal stories, historical research, and social analysis.
