Saffron Market Exhibition in Cascia
In five days you will get to know one of the Valnerina excellent products: the pure saffron of Cascia.
From the 28th October to the 1st November the town of St. Rita is going to host the 2017 edition of the “Saffron Market Exhibition in Cascia”.
Beyond the gastronomic stands, there will certainly be tastings and conferences to discover the culinary and therapeutic properties of this precious spice.
It will also be possible to take part in some guided visits to saffron’s fields, in order to meet the companies and understand the different processing steps leading to the precious final product.
Many are the events on schedule: particularly, Sunday 30th October will be dedicated to the meeting with volunteers who with love and passion gave their time, their skills and availability to the entire population in the long and difficult moment of the earthquake.
