Voloevento
The Festival “VOLOEVENTO"”, a tribute to Icarus and Aeolus with a series of appointments inspired by the flight and wind, is on schedule from the 30th June to the 2nd July.
Waiting for you you will find laboratories, kites flying, exhibitions of drones, screenings and informative conferences, painting contests inspired by the topic of the festival and, last but not least, the second edition of the international contest of social satire "Cartoo'n'Kite", that last year saw participating 44 countries from all the world for a total of 204 drawings executed.
Location of the festival will be the Amerino plateau which extends from St. Restituta to Acqualoreto, through Toscolano, Melezzole and Morre.
This plateau presents on its southern edge the range of mountains Pianicel Grande, Rotondo and other ones reaching and exceeding 800 metres, is open towards north on the very wide valley toward Todi, and it combines, for the joy of people enjoying the spot, the typically Umbrian deep green of woods with the blue of the sky looking over the valley wandering far until the Apennines.
