Olivolio Spoleto
On Friday 7th and Saturday 8th April, in the inspiring setting of the ancient cloister of St. Nicolò, Spoleto will host "Olivolio", the appointment devoted to the process and product innovation in the Italian olive-oil industry.
For two days researchers, experts, entrepreneurs, journalists and field operators are going to compare different technical solutions and innovation guidelines in the field of mining technologies, in the use of vegetation waters and olive residues, aiming at defining the lines of development that could guide field operators' choices, aimed at improving the quality and competitiveness of national olive productions.
At the end of the conference, on Saturday 8th April, there will be an open tasting of extra-virgin olive oil produced by the participating companies, that will be open to the public who could have the opportunity to taste excellent Umbrian extra-virgin oils and not only.
