CaLibro 2016

CaLibro 2016

Books, music, poetry and culture are the stars of "CaLibro", the Festival of Literature which is taking place in Città di Castello from the 31st March to the 3rd April.

Many guests will be participating, both writers and intellectuals from Italy and abroad: Mathias Énard, Filippo Tuena, Claudio Gregori and Marco Pastonesi, Michele Mari, Gianni Ottaviani, Isabella Pedicini, Michela Murgia, Erika Maderna and many others besides, for four days of meetings with authors, in-depth discussions and shows.

There is also space for the youngest members of the family with "Libri in fuga! Un accampamento di racconti dal mondo", an event dedicated to fairy tales and stories from Iran, Syria, Kurdistan, Eritrea and Senegal for children, to teach them that diversity is beautiful.

The festival is now in its fourth edition, and is above all, a meeting point aiming to address present-day themes and issues, promoting the exchange of ideas and dialogue between art and cultures.

All of the events are free of charge and no booking is required.
