Young Jazz Festival 2016
If you are a lover of jazz music, this event will widen your musical horizons: we are talking about the Young Jazz Festival, the next-generation festival of new generations, now in its 12th edition. The festival, within the range of experimentation and mixture of genres, will take place from October 12 to 16 in Foligno and this year, for the first time, also in Trevi.
"FoodPrints" is the topic chosen for 2016: "tracks" show a walk, a journey, a path startin from the intersection among several musical, cultural, social, ethnical and generational identities as well as genres.
Artists who will animate the most inspiring places of Foligno are, among others, Dimitri Grechi Espinoza, Hobby Horse, the Gabriele Mitelli and Pasquale Mirra duet, Orchestrino, Fabrizio Puglisi, Giovanni Guidi and The Gam Scorpions, Alessandro Lanzoni Trio, Liberorchestra and Stefano Tamborrino, Dario Carnovale New Trio, Matteo Bortone, Lucia Guarino e David Brutti, Fabritia D'Intino and Federico Scettri. Enrico Rava will be an exceptional guest for the screening of a documentary about his life and music.
Beyond music, there will be space also for dance, cinema, reading, writing and moreover social themes that have always identified Young Jazz, making it different from other festivals.
