Taste and tradition told through four products of excellence
In the surroundings of the town of Cascia, on the south-eastern edge of the region, through one of the most mountainous and uncontaminated areas of Umbria, immersed in the regenerating atmosphere of the places of Santa Rita.
In the centre of Foligno, Palazzo Orfini houses the Museo della Stampa, where the first copy of the Divine Comedy was printed in 1472.
There is a pearl of rare beauty in Montefalco, which, together with Sagrantino wine, makes this village unique: it is the church of San Francesco built between 1335 and 1338 by the Friars Minor and transformed into a museum in 1990, along with rooms of the adjoining convent.
In Montefalco, one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of Italy”, the Sagrantino Museum was inaugurated in April 2024 within the stunning Museum Complex of Saint Francis.

Castelluccio lentils have an ancient tradition, and this soup is one of the most traditional recipes of all. The lentil plant is a member of the legume family, which is planted as soon as the winter snows melt. It flowers between May and August, when the lentils are harvested and stored for use later in the year.
A visit to the famous Ponte delle Torri bridge, one of the symbols of Spoleto, is not to be missed, not to mention a stroll admiring the panoramic view
The attorta, or rocciata as it is known, is a popular cake in almost all of Umbria prepared during the winter holidays (from the beginning of November until Carnival). In particular, it is prepared especially during the Christmas holidays, perhaps because of its red colour given by alchermes.

Located in southeastern Umbria, between Foligno and Spoleto, Campello sul Clitunno is a small, fascinating medieval hamlet nestled among the olive groves that carpet the hills of the Clitunno valley. The area's true pearl is the Clitunno Springs; Pliny, Virgil and Propertius all sang of their bucolic beauty in classical times, and more recently they inspired Lord Byron and Carducci, who dedicated an ode to them, "At the Headwaters of the Clitumnus."
Situated in the central southern part of Umbria, Castel Ritaldi is a hamlet set on top of Scigliano Hill, at the foot of the Martani Mountains. It is located on the Spoleto - Montefalco road and overlooks a mostly agricultural district interspersed with forests and hilly slopes carpeted with olive trees. The area is intersected with country roads suitable for walks, horseback rides or bicycling.

The third largest city in Umbria after Perugia and Terni, Foligno is located in central-eastern Umbria, on the plain at the foot of the Umbria-Marche Apennines, where the Topino and Monotre rivers meet. Nocera Umbra is situated at the top of a rocky spur from which it dominates the upper Topino river valley, along the Via Flaminia linking Foligno with Gualdo Tadino. The area's most important natural resource is its mineral waters: their therapeutic qualities have been known since the 16th century, when spas and systems for drawing and carrying the water were built.

Situated in the central west of Umbria between Assisi and Foligno, Spello lies across the southern slopes of Mount Subasio, looking down on to the fertile valley of the Topino river.
