In the month of September, the municipality of Arrone will host numerous events in the food and wine and sporting spheres.
It will begin on Wednesday 4 until Sunday 8 September, in the hamlet of Castiglioni, with the 2nd Enogastronomic Tasting of Country Sheep, which will include the opening of the stand every evening from 7 p.m. and, from 9 p.m., live music and DJ sets.
It will continue on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 September with the Festa della Madonna dello Scoglio (Feast of Our Lady of the Rock), in the hamlet of Casteldilago, with a programme that includes, from 7.30 p.m., DeGustando il Borgo (Tasting the Village), a food and wine tour with typical local products through the streets of the village and as special guest the frog.
Finally, on Saturday 7 September, the National Sprint Race for students, cadets, boys, juniors and seniors will be staged at 10.15 a.m., and on Sunday 8 September, again at 10.15 a.m., the National Classic Race for students, cadets, boys, juniors and seniors will take place.
Both competitions will be within the framework of the Italian Masters Championship.
