Rubens – the Allegory of the Faith. The Persian Sybil

From 14 October 2016 to 8 January 2017, Amelia, in the event of Ameria Festival, will exhibit the extraordinary unpublished artwork by Pieter Paul Rubens in the halls of the Edilberto Rosa Archeological Civic Museum and Picture Gallery, with the exhibition "Rubens – the Allegory of the Faith. The Persian Sybil", curated by Vittorio Sgarbi. 


Considered an authentic masterpiece of Ruben's early maturity, the plastic-shaped artwork represents the Allegory of Christian Faith, as proven by the open book with the picture of the Immaculate Conception.

Opening times

10.30 am – 1.30 pm/ 3 – 5 pm (Tuesday and Wednesday closed).

It's possible to book the special opening for reserved visits.

Fees

Full single ticket (Archeological Museum, Roman Cistern and Petrignani Palace) 7 euro; reduced ticket 5 euro (from 6 to 18 years old, over 60 years, Icom members, journalists, teachers, university students); free for kids between 0 and 5 years, disabled with an accompanying person, residents.

Guided visits

60 euro for a generic group (up to 25 people); 80 euro for translation; for schools 2.50 euro each student; individual tickets 2 euro (visits are held in opening days at 11 am and 3 pm).
