The exhibition “The swiss touch in landscape architecture”, an exhibition to take stock of the landscape architecture, is going to take place from the 9^th June to the 16^th July in Palazzo Collicola in Spoleto (that will inaugurate some spaces devoted to the House of Architecture exactly on the 9^th June).

The landscape architecture is a relatively recent discipline that in the last decades developed considerably, so to acquire an increasingly important role in the way of understanding and transforming the territory.

Today it deals with planning public spaces, urban and rural projects, managing green spaces in the cities, creating parks and gardens, as well as with post-industrial sites and the integration of agricultural areas in the territory.

The landscape will be represented both in the exhibition and in the conference “Next landscapes”: the symposium, scheduled on the 9^th June, aims at starting a multi-scalar, multi-disciplinary and multi-actorial thinking.

To this end plans of Italian, European and obviously Umbrian landscapes, representatives of the different dimensions, will be illustrated by national and international participants with high cultural, technical and specialistic competences.
