MUSA: Music Assisi Festival
The usual appointment with MUSA, Music Assisi Festival is back again in Saint Francis land, symbol of peace and welcoming.
The international festival offers, until the 12th of August, a series of free-admittance events to promote the intercultural exchange and dialogue.
Concerts of classical, lyrical and jazz music, folkloristic groups, singers-songwriters and many internationally renowned guests are alternating with exhibitions and performances in Assisi, Perugia, Santa Maria degli Angeli and Bettona.
Conferences, exhibitions and masterclasses dedicated to the mediation and communication among different cultures complete the program.
The MUSA Live Music and Food will be introducing the Festival this year, on the schedule from the 17th to the 19th June in Bastia Umbria: a weekend between music and street-food, completed on Sunday the 19th by a whole day devoted to the best man's friend with "iomifido" ("I trust").
