Flags of America

Flags of America

Over 150 pictures from the most important overseas photographers who, with their lenses, captured everyday life, thoughts, landscapes and emotions of the American post-war climate until the seventies. That is the exhibition called "Flags of America", which collects a group of works belonging to the prestigious international photographic collection of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Modena (Modena Savings Bank Foundation) and the Galleria Civica in Modena (Modena Civic Gallery).

An exhibition in which every artist talks about his own expressive way through a personal style that then became a reference point for his own time and for the following generations.

Each author offers a different view on the American photography of the last century, by focusing on the changing world surrounding us, on its continuous transformation.

Starting by Sunday 10th April, the exhibition opens its doors to the children with themed itineraries and educational laboratories focused on the picture. For the complete program, information and bookings: www.sistemamuseo.it.
