Ameria Festival
For over a month, from September 16 to October 23, the splendid Amerino area will host big concerts, theatre performances, conferences and many other initiatives, thanks to the 2016 edition of the Ameria Festival.
Throughout six weekends, on every weekend the schedule includes a series of events devoted to music, from opera to jazz, prose and travelling itineraries to discover Amelia and its surroundings.
On schedule there is a concert series with three long-standing choral ensembles, an original staging of Rossini's The Barber of Seville and a piano appointment with Alessandro Marangoni and the most famous Beethoven's sonatas. Names on schedule include Elio Pandolfi, Tullio Solenghi, the Stradivari sextet of Santa Cecilia Academy, Fabrizio Bosso and the Roma Sinfonietta Ensemble.
During the entire event there will be conferences focused on history and current topics, exhibitions of modern and contemporary art as well as guided tours through Amerino areas.
