Sassovivo WILD / Wild Umbria Gravel Experience 2026
On 24 and 25 October 2026, Foligno hosts two off-road cycling events in the heart of Umbria: the 12th edition of Sassovivo Wild and the 6th edition of Wild Umbria Gravel Experience.
Sassovivo Wild is a non-competitive mountain bike rally set in the area of Sassovivo and Monte Cologna, passing through villages and hamlets such as Cancelli, Casale, Roviglieto and Vallupo. Participants can choose between two routes: the Classic, 30 km with 1,000 metres of elevation gain on compact and unpaved terrain, suitable for riders with intermediate skills; and the Extreme, 46 km with 1,600 metres of elevation gain on compact gravel, designed for riders with strong technical abilities.
Wild Umbria Gravel Experience takes cyclists on a journey through the land of olive oil and Sagrantino wine, connecting Foligno with destinations such as Trevi, Montefalco, Bevagna and Cannara. Three gravel routes of increasing difficulty are available: 60 km with 1,000 metres of elevation gain, suitable for confident riders; and 110 km with 2,000 metres of elevation gain for the most experienced, both on compact and unpaved gravel surfaces.
