Narnia Festival

Narnia Festival

Music, art and culture are going to invade the churches, museums, theatres and squares of the medieval town of Narni: the “Narnia Festival” is returning from 10th to 29th July with a calendar rich in events among dance, music, theatre, exhibitions, conferences and guided visits whose combination will create a perfect balance characterised by an inspiring synthesis between tradition and innovation, with several internationally renowned artists and lecturers.

Furthermore, the 2018 Festival will renew the wide offer of training courses focused on the different instruments and artistic disciplines, led by teachers coming from the most prestigious international schools, including The Juilliard School of New York, The Mozarteum of Salzburg, the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, the Theatre Academy at the Milan’s Scala and the National Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome.

One of the most interesting innovations proposed by the Festival this year will be a weekend devoted to Umbria and to the themes of spirituality and humanity, with debates, books’ presentations and the collective exhibition of art “Made in Umbria”, a large fresco where internationally renowned Umbrian artists with a different education will be invited to share their creations, talent and art with visitors coming from all the world.
