In Montefalco from 30 July to 19 August, Fuga del Bove takes place, a historical event involving the town’s four districts: San Bartolomeo, San Fortunato, San Francesco and Sant’Agostino. The programme recalls local tradition through parades, contests, convivial moments and events in the districts.

The event opens on 30 July with the Renaissance Banquet. From 11 August, the programme includes the Historical Parade, flag-waving and drumming contests, district performances, the relay race, crossbow shooting and the Corsa dei Bovi, scheduled for 19 August. From 6 to 19 August, the district taverns will also be open, with food offerings and meeting moments.

New features this year include the Cena Grande on 30 July, dinner shows in the districts and a new route for the historical parade.
