Francesco, mi taglierei i capelli per te? 2026/2027

In Perugia, at Villa del Colle del Cardinale, the exhibition Francesco, mi taglierei i capelli per te? – 5 Reflections on Women in the Spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi will be on view from 20 June to 7 January. Curated by Roberta Tosi, the project reflects on the meaning of Saint Francis' message through a contemporary female perspective.

Works by Daniela Alfarano, Roberta Busato, Silvia Ranchicchio, Elisa Zadi and Federica Zianni address themes such as spirituality, identity, nature, the body and inner exploration, offering personal interpretations of Saint Francis and his cultural legacy. Through painting, drawing, sculpture and installations, the exhibition invites visitors to consider the relevance of these themes today.

The artworks engage in dialogue with the Villa's historic interiors, creating a connection between contemporary art and historical heritage that encourages reflection and discovery.
