From June 11th to 14th 2026, the historic center of Spoleto hosts the Corsa dei Vaporetti, a long-standing event with a strong competitive and playful spirit that has involved the city and its residents for over fifty years. Originally born as a race between neighborhoods, it has become a much-anticipated occasion that combines sport with culture and social participation.

For four days, the city streets turn into an urban circuit featuring free trials, timed runs and official races, all in an atmosphere of healthy competition and shared enthusiasm. The bond with the local community is essential: the race is experienced as a moment of unity and identity, where tradition, religion, solidarity and enjoyment come together.

The program begins on June 11th with the presentation of the teams in Piazza Garibaldi, and continues on June 12th with the first trials. The 13th is dedicated to heats and repechages, while the 14th features the main final race, culminating in the official awards ceremony.
