Buon Vento 2026
From 24 to 26 July, Tuoro sul Trasimeno, Borghetto, Vernazzano, Isola Maggiore and Campo del Sole host Buon Vento – Giornate Resistenti del Trasimeno, an event devoted to historical memory, solidarity and cultural participation.
On Friday 24 July, at Talalla Caffè in Borghetto, the programme includes È questo il fiore, a red-poppy workshop for adults and children, and Fiabe resistenti, featuring stories by Subcomandante Marcos, readings, listening sessions and live art presented by Cronache Ribelli; a lakeside DJ set follows.
On Saturday 25 July, at Parco Il Sodo, Mario Parigi and Nicola Torrini discuss the days of liberation between Lake Trasimeno and the Valdichiana in the summer of 1944. The programme continues with Sara Lucaroni and the presentation of La destra e le donne, a book donation to the municipal library of Tuoro sul Trasimeno and the Pastasciutta dei fratelli Cervi, accompanied by music from the Tupamaros.
Sunday 26 July begins at 7 a.m. with Sentieri della memoria, a trekking route with readings through Campo del Sole, Vernazzano, Tuoro and Isola Maggiore. In the afternoon, the meeting Cuba no está sola explores the embargo, self-determination and daily life on the island; the event closes with Cuban music performed by Miguel Jiménez Díaz.
