The company
In January 2015, we started brewing beer in the heart of Italy in Terni, the town of St. Valentine's Day, in a newly designed plant.
The brewery was designed with the aim of ensuring a high quality of the finished product for the consumer. This has been implemented through the use of raw materials of the highest quality, a plant that allows constant reproducibility and correct flow management (from the materials to the finished product, passing through constant control of the cold cycle). BIRRA BRO produces top-fermented 'live' beers, unfiltered, unpasteurised, without preservatives and re-fermented in the bottle with their yeasts still very much alive!!! The bottles spend almost twenty days in the re-fermentation cell before they are ready to be uncorked!!! We have a temperature-controlled cell for bottle re-fermentation, a low-temperature cell for maturation and storage of the packaged product, and a semi-automatic bottling and labelling machine with an isobaric chamber.
Our recipes are the result of constant knowledge and research into the quality of raw materials; a very varied result that has given rise to a complete line of quality products that combine the pleasure of the exclusive product with the convivial character of the brewer's product.
We produce 'live', unfiltered, unpasteurised, preservative-free and bottle-fermented beers with their still-lively yeasts
Productive process
Our productionThe Etruscan line follows our original production through two different products: the blonde Mania (Blonde Ale), named after the Etruscan goddess of Madness, very versatile, fresh and pleasant in all seasons, very "complicit" with the most diverse culinary accompaniments, thanks to the bitter aftertaste that immediately calls for a second sip, with American hops with a hint of lime and grapefruit; the amber-coloured Alpan (Amber Ale), named after the Etruscan goddess of Love, which brings us back to the calm, deep tones of the forest, and very mellow thanks to the presence of chestnut honey, persuasive but also vivacious, almost like a caress on the palate, but which leaves its mark. The Vintage line with the highly perfumed Apache (American Pale Ale), almost a bouquet that first arrives on the nose and already prepares the palate for the sensory experience that will captivate with the first sip... Then there is the characteristic Mitica '70 (a Belgian-style Dubbel), whose name already bears an important legacy: that of being an intriguing, full beer, with many flavours, all to be discovered sip after sip. Proud and complete, it will accompany the whole meal, able to compete with a good red wine without blushing! And then the latest arrival, La Figlia dei Fiori, a surprising and innovative blanche, 'daughter' entirely of the herbs of the Terni area, strongly desired to pay homage above all to the attentive and curious palates of the ever-increasing number of women approaching the world of beer.
