We are located in the very central Via dei Priori in Perugia. Its route is dotted with churches, noble palaces and artisan shops. We would like to remind you that Osteria a Priori is located at number 39, not to be confused with the other numerous eateries and shops along the street. Don't worry! Our entrance is dominated by a large brown sign with our name on it: Osteria a Priori, so it will be easy to recognise us!
The tables at Osteria a Priori are spread out in different rooms: from the informal atmosphere of the ground floor, with high seats and cushions for a quick, business lunch, to the cozy upper floor with eight tables in the gallery and our large 'convivial table'.In fine weather we open our umbrellas and add tables in our charming outdoor dehors, between the historical walls, next to the church of San Filippo Neri.
We carefully select small producers who provide us with excellent and always fresh raw materials, with particular attention to the Slow Food Presidia of our region. Lentils from Castelluccio, red potatoes from Colfiorito, onions from Cannara, black celery from Trevi, broad bean, Fagiolina del Lago Trasimeno, extra virgin olive oil, the prized black truffle from Norcia, Chianina meat and free-range pork, cold cuts and sheep and goat cheeses. It is the exclusively local provenance of the raw materials that has characterised Osteria a Priori since its inception.
