Twenty-five concerts, 166 artists and then matinees, masterclasses, unique pieces, first performances and premieres, touches of blues, performances with a social theme, trips outside the city, a tribute narrating the last years of Schubert and Schumann and much more from Carlo Verdone to Peppe Servillo: these are the numbers of the new season of " Amici della musica di Foligno".

The big symphonic music will open the concert season with the very famous violinist Vadim Brodski and the Rossini symphonic orchestra directed by the Umbrian 23-years old Nil Venditti.

Big artists, such as Ramin Bahrami, will offer several proposals for the classical music and the same will be for the lyrical music with Daniela Mazzucato, Valentina Coladonato, Monica Bacelli, Desirée Rancatore and Cinzia Forte.

Space will be also devoted to the modern music performed and narrated by figures such as Carlo Verdone, actor and director who will present the tribute to Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota or Flavio Caroli who will explore the relationships between music and figurative arts whereas the pianist Giancarlo Simonacci will present the album Four Walls by John Cage.

The 150th anniversary of Gioacchino Rossini’s death will be celebrated by the Virtuosi Italiani and by the Gala Rossini that will conclude the Season.
