Summer exhibitions of Palazzo Collicola Arti Visive

Palazzo Collicola Arti Visive, in the historical centre of Spoleto, is going to enrich the calendar of summer events in the Two Worlds Festival’s Town with a wide series of appointments, among festivals and exhibitions devoted to art.

Throughout the warm season it will be possible to admire the artworks of Giorgio Ortona  with “F.I.C.O.

”, Yigal Ozeri with “Where are we going?”,  Andrea Pacanowski with “Other than Me”, Roberta Pizzorno with “Full of emptiness”, Giuseppe Pulvirenti with “Trademark SP”, TTOZOI  with “Genius Loci (Reworks)” and Giorgio Facchini with “Jewels as sculptures, sculptures as jewels”.

A special mention should go to “Ghost Witness Shadow”, the exhibition of the American Eugene Lemay, who is returning to Italy after his personal exhibition in Rome at the MACRO Mattatoio (Slaughterhouse). “Dimensions of Dialogue” was the title of that exhibition, a phrase that well embodies the ethical conscience of Lemay, as well as the political and militant nature of his work.

The artworks hosted on the Noble Floor of Collicola Palace represent the stations of a way through the pain of war, the hypocrisy of politics, the blinding phobia and terror, the wounds of flesh and heart. The American artist knows the noise of bombs, the screeching noise of lethal weapons, the smell of running blood.
