It's the king of the Umbrian table and one of the most important food products in the areas in and around the Monte Peglia Park and Meana Woods (S.T.I.N.A.): we're talking about truffles.
Every year, to promote and celebrate this quality gastronomic product,  the "Mostra Mercato Nazionale del Tartufo e dei prodotti agroalimentari di qualità" takes place in Fabro.

From the 9th to the 11th December in the streets and piazzas of the town's beautiful historic centre, you'll be able to immerse yourself in the smells and flavours of autumn: chestnuts, wine and a lot of truffle with more than fifty stands, with both local and national producers and traders coming from all of Italy's regions.

In line with tradition, on Saturday afternoon they will try to make the world biggest omelette with white truffle, with around 2000 eggs and almost 30 kg of truffle. Are you ready to discover if the record will be reached in this year's edition?
