XXXVIII Discesa Internazionale del Tevere- International Descent of the Tiber

XXXVIII Discesa Internazionale del Tevere

The departure for the International Descent of the River Tiber has been fixed for Sunday 23rd April, with participants reaching Rome in nine days.

It is began as a guided tour by canoe, but in recent years has also open to those wanting to complete the route by bike or on foot, for sports enthusiasts or tourists, wanting to enjoy an experience surrounded by nature.

The route is organised in 9 stages, each lasting a day, and if you wish you can choose take part in just some of them.

You can choose to stay overnight along the river, in your own tents, in gyms, in farmhouses or in camper vans.

This is a unique occasion to visit artistic and archaeological sites in Umbria and Lazio, and is also open to beginners who, between March and April, will be able to attend canoeing courses and the Open Days dedicated specifically for those starting out.
