In Ponte San Giovanni, Perugia, ffrom 2 to 6 September, Velimna – The Etruscans of the River returns for its 24th edition, dedicated to the theme “Painting in Etruria”. The event offers a journey through Etruscan history, culture and traditions, with activities for adults and children exploring aspects of the daily life of the Rasna people. The opening ceremony will take place on 2 September. On 3 September at 7 pm, the programme features the Etruscan Aperisimposium, followed by At the Table with the Etruscans, for which reservations are required. On 4 September, activities for children begin at 5 pm, followed at 7 pm by the Etruscan Aperisimposium and, at 7.30 pm, the opening of the Etruscan Refreshment Area. On 5 September, for the first time, the Etruscan Market will open at 5 pm, offering products, flavours and aromas inspired by the daily life of the Rasna people. At 9 pm, the day continues with a historical procession and reenactment performance, bringing characters, costumes and elements of Etruscan history to life. The event concludes on 6 September with further activities for adults and children, completing a programme that combines historical insights, conviviality, entertainment and historical reenactment.
