In Tuoro sul Trasimeno, on 20 and 21 June 2026, Tuoro 217 B.C. returns, an event dedicated to the re-enactment of the Battle of Lake Trasimene, one of the most significant episodes of the Second Punic War. On the anniversary of the battle, the area becomes a space for historical insight and storytelling, involving different parts of the town.

Over the two days, new locations across Tuoro sul Trasimeno will host re-enactment activities that take visitors back to the time of the Second Punic War, with historical re-enactors, camps and educational moments. The programme combines historical reconstruction and cultural activities, offering opportunities for learning and participation for visitors and enthusiasts.
