On 31 October and 1 November, 7 and 8 November and 14 and 15 November, Città di Castello hosts the 46th Salone Nazionale del Tartufo Bianco Pregiato, dedicated to one of the best-known products of the Upper Tiber Valley. Over three weekends, the town centre offers events focusing on white truffles, gastronomy and local traditions, with opportunities to learn about the product, its characteristics and harvesting methods. The White Truffle Market brings together producers and specialists, while show cooking and food experiences explore the use of truffles in the kitchen. The programme also includes the Villaggio dei Sapori, featuring local dishes, the Slow Food Village, themed dinners and experiences. Activities for families and children and events linked to the world of truffles, including a Lagotto Romagnolo parade, complete the programme.
