In Morra, a hamlet of Città di Castello, the 51st edition of the Sagra della Castagna takes place from October 23 to 25. The event begins on the afternoon of Friday, October 23, with the opening of the morrArte art exhibition and the local craft markets, followed by a dinner featuring regional dishes. On Saturday, October 24, activities resume at 4:00 PM with demonstrations of historical trades through the village streets, food stalls, an evening aperitivo, and a choral concert in the Pieve di Santa Maria di Morra. On Sunday, October 25, the program runs throughout the day, starting in the morning with a guided walk through the woods, the opening of exhibition spaces, and lunch based on traditional local cuisine. The afternoon features entertainment for children, street performances, and live music concerts, ending the festival with an aperitivo and dinner.
